The Pastors of Midway

It's of note that in the early days of Midway Church, a Pastor was a luxery.  Some travelled quite a distance to give a once a month sermon or perform baptisms and other special services.  The church wasn't home to one minister at a time and often shared with other local parishes which explains some of the years overlapping with other ministers.

Original Midway school house on the left was originally built on the John Berg homestead.  This small school house also served as the site of some Sunday services.  By 1883 this small school was moved to a new location down the road.  Eventually, a new and much larger school was built next to it.
